Analysis of the reasons for the delamination of white corundum powder products
White corundum powder is a relatively stable chemical material with good insulation. It is suitable for some polishing and refractory materials. Therefore, it is more popular with users when used. Then it occasionally has some delamination when synthesizing products. What is the reason for this?
1. The finished white corundum will make the mold sleeve larger and shrink when not pressurized, causing the middle layer to crack and bulge up and down.
2. The gas in the mold material is concentrated in the middle to form an air layer. After the external pressure is removed, the gas expands into the middle layer.
3. The moisture moves downward from the pressure surface. Even if there is no crack after molding, cracks may occur during firing, so it is more reasonable to turn the plate when drying.
4. When the pressure is very high, the blank has a higher elastic expansion effect. The finer the particle size of the white corundum powder, the closer the contact between the particles, and the smaller the stress transfer change. However, the middle layer of the product is very weak, the friction force is different in the upper, middle and lower parts, and the elasticity is different, so the delamination cracks are generated under the action of elastic stress.
In the production process of white corundum powder products, first of all, there must be strict processing procedures. Secondly, we must process according to its performance and its operating matters during the processing process to avoid various problems in the later stage. So I hope that through today’s introduction, everyone can be more careful in the process of making finished products.
