How is white corundum made?
White corundum is a type of artificial abrasive. It is generally white in color and has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and high hardness. So how is white corundum made? Today, the editor will introduce to you the production process of white corundum.
White corundum is made of high-quality aluminum oxide powder as raw material and is refined and crystallized by electric fusion. It has high purity, good self-sharpening properties, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and stable thermal properties.
The production process of white corundum:
1. Add conductive material to alumina powder, put it into a furnace and electrify it to dissolve, spray water, cool, solidify, and crush to form white corundum blocks with an aluminum oxide content of more than 98%.

2. Then it goes through the Barmac production line and is crushed and screened according to the particle size required by the customer. The particles are mostly spherical particles, commonly known as “grain size sand”. The general international particle size number is F4-F220.
3. White corundum micro powder is produced from industrial alumina as raw material, electromelting, refining and crystallization, followed by crushing, grinding, screening, pickling, washing, drying, sieving and other processes.
4. Pack in 25 kilograms per bag, one ton as a unit, weigh using a floor scale, and choose an economical and affordable transportation method according to customer demand.
