The role of pickling of white corundum powder
The main purpose of pickling white corundum is to remove oxides and some impurities in white corundum powder.
This takes advantage of the oxidizing and corrosive properties of acids. the white corundum powder is mixed with an acidic solution such as dilute nitric acid or dilute sulfuric acid, the acid will oxidize and corrode the oxides and impurities in the white corundum, and then separate the white corundum powder and the acid solution. However, it should be noted that , the concentration, temperature and pickling time of the acid must be strictly controlled during the pickling process to prevent excessive corrosion or dissolution of the powder.
