White corundum is often used in sandblasting operations. It can remove rust and scale to beautify the surface of the workpiece. So what should we pay attention to when sand blasting and rust removing white corundum?
Rusting of workpieces is common in industrial production, which will cause damage to the workpieces. In severe cases, the workpieces will be scrapped. Therefore, sand blasting with white corundum is an essential step. So what should you pay attention to when choosing white corundum sandblasting for rust removal?
1. Do not carry out sandblasting operations in heavy fog, rainy or dewy weather, because white corundum has temperature and humidity requirements during sandblasting and rust removal.
2. Pay attention to waterproofing, because the white corundum must be dry and clean so as not to affect the use effect, and the particle size must be less than 1mm.
3. The single choice of white corundum sandblasting effect is not obvious, it needs to be used together with steel sand, steel shot, and brown corundum.
4. As soon as the workpiece is sandblasted, someone needs to perform surface maintenance in time to avoid re-contamination.
5. Don’t throw away the white corundum after use. It can be reused about 5 times. If the white corundum sandblasting operation is no longer effective, you can also collect them together and sell them to the floor sand factory as filler for secondary use.
6. After white corundum sandblasting, the paint spraying work must be completed within 4 hours.
