What to do if cracks appear when white fused alumina is used
white fused alumina has the advantages of high hardness, good performance, high specific gravity, and no harmful substances. It is an environmentally friendly abrasive material and plays an important role in the international sandblasting cleaning industry. When white fused alumina sand is used, it has been used for a long time. With growth, a thick layer of cracks may gradually appear. Then, how do we deal with such cracks?
1. Decrease pouring temperature and pouring speed. The low pouring temperature can reduce the shrinkage and wear of the alumina tank; 2. Deaeration measures should be strengthened during the smelting process;
3. Improve the function of the alumina hollow ball brick, improve the density, and make the chemical cost more uniform;
4. Place the cold iron at the hot section, and after the pouring is completed, add a heating covering agent to the riser of the corundum cyanine altar.
If the white fused alumina material is repaired according to the above method, its structure is uniform and dense, the crystal grains are fine, and the cracks are significantly cut.
